Residential Metal Roofing in Brockville
Your roof gets the full Ontario forecast, often in the same year: snow, ice, driving rain, summer heat and plenty of temperature swings in between. Choosing what goes over your home deserves more thought than simply replacing what's already there.
Perkins Metal Roofing specializes exclusively in metal roofing systems. We install metal roofs for homes, cottages, garages and multi-family residential properties across Eastern Ontario, with service extending from Kingston to Ottawa.
From the first roof inspection to choosing a profile and colour, we'll help you understand your options and recommend a system that makes sense for your home, your style and your budget.

Replacing Your Roof? Let's Look at What's There First
No two reroofing projects start from exactly the same place. Before recommending how to proceed, we can inspect your existing roof and assess the condition, measurements and requirements of the property.
Depending on the roof, your replacement may involve a strip-and-replace application, where the existing roofing is removed before the new metal system is installed, or a strap-and-shim application. We'll explain the appropriate approach for your property and what it means for the project before work begins.
And because metal roofing is our focus, you aren't choosing between the material we specialize in and a long menu of unrelated roofing systems. This is what we work with every day.
Three Profiles,
Three Very Different Looks
Metal doesn't mean your house has to look one particular way. Perkins Metal Roofing supplies residential systems from Easy Building Products, with profiles ranging from the familiar lines of ribbed steel to the traditional character of shake and the streamlined appearance of standing seam.
G-Rib
A practical choice with a clean ribbed profile, G-Rib is made from 29-gauge high-tensile steel designed for strength, weather resistance and minimal expansion and contraction. Its protective coating system helps it stand up to sun, wind, rain, heat and cold. Custom lengths can be cut to the inch up to 30 feet, helping reduce or eliminate end laps.
Easy Shake
Love the character of slate but want the advantages of steel? Easy Shake recreates that more traditional look with 26-gauge steel step panels at a fraction of the weight of slate. It's an attractive option for houses and cottages where curb appeal matters just as much as performance.
Snap-Lock Standing Seam
For a more streamlined architectural finish, Snap-Lock Standing Seam uses a concealed fastening system, so exposed screws don't interrupt the roof's clean lines. The 26-gauge panels feature a 1.5-inch rib and are available in 16-inch widths with Striation Rib or Fluted Rib profiles. The interlocking system creates a weather-tight seal.
Multiple colours and finishes are available, giving you room to choose a combination that complements your home's exterior rather than simply settling for whatever happens to be standard.
We Can Take Care of the Edges Too
Sometimes the roof is only part of what needs attention. Perkins Metal Roofing also provides:
-
steel siding
-
soffit
-
fascia
Taking care of these exterior components alongside your roofing project can help create a more cohesive finish and save you from coordinating several different contractors

Not Sure Which Metal Belongs on Your Home?
You don't need to arrive knowing the difference between every gauge, profile, fastening system or finish. Tell us what you like, what you're replacing and what you want to spend. We'll help you compare suitable metal roofing systems and provide recommendations based on the actual project rather than pushing you toward one option.
Free estimates are available, so you'll have clear project information before deciding how you'd like to proceed.
Roof Damage and an Insurance Claim?
A damaged roof already gives you enough to deal with. If your residential roofing project involves an insurance claim, Perkins Metal Roofing can help with the roofing side of the process. We'll assess the project and prepare a detailed quote that you can submit to your insurance provider, giving you the information needed to move the claim forward.
